Biochemistry is one of the crossover fields of chemistry. Biochemists have to understand both the living world and the chemical world. It is the study of chemical processes within and relating organisms. Principles of Biochemistry integrates an introduction to the structure of macromolecules and a biochemical approach to cellular function. The Clinical and Medical Biochemistry Journal welcome manuscripts in Biochemistry, Biomedical sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Molecular biology and Genetics. The editorial board of Journal shall strive to maintain highest standards of quality and ethics in its publication.

Clinical and Medical Biochemistry Journal is an open access, peer-reviewed journal that considers articles on all aspects of biochemical processes, including the structure, function and dynamics of metabolic pathways, supramolecular complexes, enzymes, proteins, nucleic acids and small molecular components of organelles, cells and tissues. The Journal is successfully running volume 6 with a large number of viewers from around the world. Peer-review is the system used to assess the quality of a manuscript before it is published. Independent researchers in the relevant research area assess submitted manuscripts for originality, validity and significance to help editors determine whether the manuscript should be published in their journal.

Submitted manuscripts will generally be reviewed by two or more experts who will be asked to evaluate whether the manuscript is scientifically sound and coherent, whether it duplicates already published work, and whether or not the manuscript is sufficiently clear for publication. The Editors will reach a decision based on these reports and, where necessary, they will consult with members of the Editorial Board.
